This project was all about no budget, grass roots and lots of fun and love — it was a huge success pulling in over 250 women for the first annual conference. I signed on as marketing/design manager in the middle of my pregnancy with my son, Micah. We hit the full force of the advertising/registration push just before my due date and the he was 5 weeks old on the day of the event. Good times. I created a small bookmark sized ad and with the help of a generous printer was able to tag it up on a run to yield 5,000 pieces at no cost. That, coupled with constant facebook marketing, was able to get us great results.
